She began her academic journey at the University of Lagos, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and Regional Planning, before transitioning into the healthcare field in pursuit of her passion for service and patient advocacy. She subsequently obtained an Associate degree in Nursing from Prince George’s Community College, establishing the foundation for a distinguished nursing career.

She further advanced her professional qualifications by earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland.

Committed to continuous professional growth and leadership, Dr. Soneye pursued advanced nursing education at Walden University, where she obtained both a Master’s degree and a Doctorate in Nursing. Dr. Soneye is a Maryland Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, with extensive experience spanning primary care, mental health services, and comprehensive patient management.
